Airplane-rail-bus tour in Italy

Councils that wants to ride in Italy "on their own", almost without guides and guides, with pictures, prices :)

Italy is a country of the European Union and a Schengen visa is required for its visit.
The procedure for issuing a visa is standard. We wait for the visa, and we fly to Italy.
The journey through the Italian boots began in Milan. The airport is outside the city, and you can reach Milan in 2 ways - by taxi on a toll road or a budget option on the metro.

Milan Cathedral

Milan, as it is known the capital of world fashion and accordingly it is just a dream of any shopaholic, unless of course you are not embarrassed by quite Italian prices. The government is fighting hard against manufacturers of cheaper counterfeits. But this does not stop fans from cashing in on well-known brands. Right on the street, they sell bags and other accessories from Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, etc. - mostly traders all as one person of African-African appearance

Milan Passage

The hotel was pre-booked in the center of Milan.
We stopped in the center of the city, in the area of Duomo. Milan is no different from other major European cities, which means endless traffic jams. The famous Milan Cathedral is located in this area, and the most interesting places you can visit on foot.
Nearby is the Milanese passage (the road of kings). Have glazed the street in ancient times, to high people, making the way from the cathedral to the theater of La Scala, it was not necessary, for example, to get wet in the rain.

Market in Milan

The very building of the theater of La Scala is quite unprepossessing. There was a grandiose structure that you can not pass by, but only the aborigines pointed to the building and said that this is the great La Scala. Just so the theater itself does not go, but to the left of the entrance there is a theater museum and for 1.5 euros you can see the exposition in which the history of the theater is represented, as well as stroll through the theater. The cost of tickets for opera performance depends on many factors, the premiere, who performs, the day of the week and of course the place. The price of tickets reaches 2000 euros or more, but it's quite possible to listen to an opera in a decent place for only 50 euros, which we did.
The interior decoration, of course, is amazing, and acoustics too.

The monument to Da Vinci stands just opposite La Scala

A trip in the Milan metro is 1 euro per trip, but few know that after a trip with the same ticket, you can ride 70 minutes in any ground electric transport (there are trams there). Where to eat. On the first evening, there was no time to eat from the overabundance of the impressions of the time, and not far from the Cathedral a familiar sign with the red M letter began to shine. Never go to McDonald's in Italy.
The contingent of visitors resembles a contingent of our wine-glasses and eateries).
Nearby there is a small grocery market, where you can buy any food, and of course visit local pizzerias.

Milan can be used as a base for one-day outings to cities such as Venice, Florence and Pisa.
Go to the train station, only not at night, there is a nearby park, which is a place of lodging for illegal immigrants, and meeting with them does not bode well.

At the station there are terminals that sell tickets. In addition to the Italian language, the menu can choose English. We choose the train Eurostar (it speeds up to 200 km an hour), you can choose and Regionale (like our electric trains and cheaper), but then you will spend 2 times more time on the road. There you will see the schedule. Tickets can be taken back and forth. On the Eurostar train, in 2 hours you will be in Venice.

It is possible to talk about Venice for a long time and endlessly. It is better to see everything with your own eyes. Everyone has their own. Channels, gondolas, narrow streets and no cars

The next day you can go to Pisa with its famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The city is small and there is really nothing to watch except the tower itself. We get to Florence by the same Eurostar. The city made an indelible impression. It is called the city of the Renaissance. This is perhaps the most beautiful city in Italy from all that you have seen. A small town entirely and completely is an architectural monument.

Not far from Florence is the city of Florentino, it is also called Italian Switzerland. You can get there by sightseeing bus (€ 20), which leaves directly from the railway station square or by taxi. It's great that having bought a ticket to this miracle - a bus of red color you can get out at the place you like, take a walk and go on with the same ticket on the next bus of the same company.
After examining the neighborhood of Milan, we move to Rome, which is rightly called the eternal city. You can go to Rome, on the already mentioned Eurostar (6 hours) or by plane, the time goes the same, considering the way to the airport, registration and so on. You can pre-book a hotel room or rent a room upon arrival.

You can talk endlessly about Rome. At least 3 days to see at least the main attractions. We will not even list them. The main street of Rome is Via del Corso. It is a pedestrian street, along which many shops are located. Better to settle somewhere nearby.
Be sure to visit the Vatican City (ticket 13 euros). Go there better early in the morning.
In the Vatican, as a rule, there is a long queue. To the left there is a line similar to the one in the mausoleum. From the right there is a so-called "VIP-queue", do not be surprised, there you will hear the native speech, tk. Our countrymen, I show natural wit and habit always climb out of turn.

Rome is used as a starting point for trips to Rimini, a resort town on the Adriatic Sea, Naples with Vesuvius, from there, by the way, it is convenient to get to Florence.
In Naples, you must go very early, if you want to visit Vesuvius. The bus with an excursion to the volcano departs at 8-9 am from Garibaldi Square (the station square).

Naples is a bazaar. It reminds our cities very much. Dirty, with a bunch of emigrants from the CIS countries, to meet a Ukrainian, for example, there as easily as at Kursk railway station in Moscow.
Late at Vesuvius, we decided to take a walk around the city, and went wherever our eyes looked. Went to the area of the docks. This is a real ghetto. For the first time they were stopped by policemen who, having checked the documents, advised them to get out of there for good, for health.
And in general, a good sea landscape, palm trees, the sea, in good weather, you can see Vesuvius.
The seafood market was impressive, and also the market with Chinese consumer goods - well, just like here, one in one.

Italy is a country in which you can and should return. Especially when you can travel on it yourself, opening your Italy.
All successful and interesting trips!
