ISRAEL

ISRAEL: 4 SEASONS IN 7 DAYS

Israel is a truly Jewish country. For only Jews can concentrate on a very small territory as much as 4 seas. And all the seas can be bypassed for the standard duration of the trip, a week or two. This is a very convenient country for travel, and the number of impressions per 1 square meter there, perhaps, the highest. Further on, how to make a route to those who travel to Israel for the first time. Let's start with the seas. "Obvious" two - the Mediterranean and the Red. Also there is the Dead Sea, which, of course, is just a very salty lake, but nonetheless. And then there's the Kinneret. Its Israelis also consider the sea, although it is generally fresh. But this is Israel, yes.

So, the main points: Tel Aviv, the north of Israel (including the Sea of Galilee), Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Eilat (Red Sea). If you want to visit all 4 seas, then the normal duration of the trip is 2 weeks. If the priority goal is to visit Jerusalem, then Eilat can be excluded. Or, on the contrary, to make cleanly Eilat + Jerusalem, but then there is nothing more, otherwise it's vanity.

You can get to Israel by air - a plane either to Tel Gavion (Ben Gurion Airport) or to Eilat (Ovda Airport). It is more convenient to fly to Tel Aviv, there are many more flights. There are more exotic ways. For example, if there are no tickets, no direct or curved - and this happens on holidays - quietly fly to Jordan. Israel is near, but the message is regular. You can also fly to Cyprus, and get to Israel by ferry.

Traveling inside the country, of course, on a rented car, Israel is perhaps the most convenient country for this. The distances are small, you do not get tired behind the wheel, and the gasoline consumption is low. The cost of renting a car is normal. As for attractions, in Israel it's all very intimate. Therefore, no buses, group tours, only a car.

An approximate two-week tour, which will be discussed, does not contain the number of days at the points where we will stop. For in the first place, it makes sense for you to prioritize yourself, there is no need for advice here. And secondly, the distances are so small that the route is easily adjusted and easily observed.

So, we fly to Tel Aviv. I recommend to stop at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - in the catalogs it goes like 5 *, but it's quite an honest, even very good "chetverochku." The hotel is located on the beach (which is the Mediterranean), stands on the "promenade" street. Another option is the Renaissance Hotel.

After settling in Tel Aviv, we get into the car and make one or two sorties to the north of Israel - Haifa, Nazareth, Natanya, the Sea of Galilee. There necessarily we ate in a cafe the stuffed fish. Returning to Tel Aviv, we decide: either the next point will be Jerusalem, or the resorts of the Dead Sea. Geographically more convenient is Jerusalem. Accordingly, in Jerusalem, you can stay at the hotel (for example, on the same Crowne Plaza network), or at Dan Boutique Jerusalem.

At the Dead Sea there are not so many hotels, and they are all about the same. A typical and good 5 * option is the Daniel Dead Sea Hotel. To look it is necessary on cash of numbers, and travel, if you provide for the Dead Sea, I advise to plan and book strongly in advance. I'm writing this now, I enter dates in a month, and I only see two hotels where there are available rooms for this period. At the Dead Sea, by the way, 3-4 days is enough. Longer than even adherents of Absolutely Calm Rest can not stand it. But if the goal is to improve health, then on the contrary, the course of treatment can take 2 weeks.

The final point is Eilat, a beautiful resort on the Red Sea. The first time I did most of the excursion around Israel and Eilat I had 3 days left. It is not enough. In a couple of years I returned to Israel and I already allocated a week for Eilat. You can stop at Rimonim Eilat, or in one of Isrotel, for example, the inexpensive (for Eilat) Isrotel Riviera Club Hotel. But the best option, of course, is Dan Eilat. Suddenly lucky as me - live in a nearby room with Kim Bessinger.
